Before you begin

You need to have the following information about your representative(s) ready:

1. First Name and Last Name
2. Email Address
3. Phone Number

Notes

Release of Information (ROI) – Authorize SkilledTradesBC to release apprentice’s information to their authorized representative(s).
Consent – Authorize SkilledTradesBC to release apprentice’s information to their authorized representative(s), who can also edit/update the apprentice’s details.

Instructions

Add an Authorized Representative

1. After logging in, click on “ROI & Consent” from the left navigation menu.
   
2. Add an authorized representative by completing all the fields.
   
3. Select the relationship to the apprentice from the list below:
   • Relative
   • Partner/Spouse
   • Lawyer
   • Employer
   • Accountant
   • Counsellor
   • School
   • Other
   
4. Select Level of Access from the list below to determine the extent of information the authorized representative will have access to regarding an apprentice.
   • Consent
   • ROI
   • Consent & ROI
   
5. Click “Submit” to add the Authorized Representative to the profile.
   

View the List of Authorized Representatives

1. Once you have submitted the information, you can view it under the “ROI & Consent” table. Look up a specific representative by typing their name in the Search Box. The list can be sorted in ascending or descending order.
   
2. To view a list of active representatives, select “Active” from the Status drop-down.
   

Edit an Authorized Representative’s Information

1. Click on the icon under View/Edit to edit the selected representative’s information.
   
2. The selected representative’s information will be populated. Click “Update” to edit the information and then submit.
   

Remove an Authorized Representative

1. Click on the icon under “Remove” to remove the selected representative from your ROI and Consent list.
   
2. Once the authorized representative is removed, the status of the authorized representative changes to “Removed”.
