Before you begin
Have your new sponsor’s SkilledTradesBC organization ID ready.
Instructions
- After logging in, click on “Registrations” from the left navigation menu.
- Click on the “+Change Sponsor” button.
- Select the program you are registered in from the drop-down menu and click the “Change Registration” button.
- Enter your new sponsor’s SkilledTradesBC organization ID. The system will validate the ID to ensure it is valid. After your sponsor’s ID is validated, check the box to confirm the change and click submit.
- DO NOT include leading zeros when entering organization IDs. For example, enter “012345” as “12345” to ensure proper search results.
- You will be notified upon successful submission. Your sponsor will then receive a notification prompting them to review and approve your registration within 30 days.
- After your sponsor’s approval, SkilledTradesBC may review the apprenticeship registration if necessary. This process might take up to 24 hours to complete.
- Both the apprentice and the sponsor will be notified once the process is completed.
