Can I submit hours for my apprentice from when they worked for a previous employer?

Yes, as long as these hours have not already been reported by the previous employer, you can submit them as the current sponsor. To do so, select ‘Yes’ under “Hours worked for a Previous/Alternate employer?” then type in the employer’s name.

You may opt to submit only a portion of these hours, if the apprentice’s previous duties were only partially relevant to their current trade.

My apprentice has unreported work hours in their trade from another country. Can I report these hours as work-based training hours?
